The Pat
Carroll Running Group (PCRG), ‘Countdown to Gold Coast’
15 week campaign, will commence on the 21st March
2006. The
Gold Coast Airport Marathon/Half Marathon and 10k takes
place on 2 July 2006.
A
celebratory
formal dinner will be held on the 15th July 2006.
There are
currently over 100 active group members and there are strong
indications this number will increase considerably during the campaign.
The PCRG
feature article in the latest
RUN
FOR YOUR LIFE magazine has helped lift the group profile.

for answering a Newsletter quiz.
Group
award:
This takes place at the conclusion of each group session. Group
members are invited to anonymously nominate a fellow group
member for a group award. All anonymous votes will be tallied at
the conclusion of the 15 week campaign resulting in 5 finalists.
Random prize:
To be drawn at the conclusion of
each group session.
PCRG seminars:
Random draw prizes.
Formal
dinner: random draw prizes.
'2006 PCRG award'. This will eventuate from the 5
Group award finalists via an anonymous vote
at
the formal dinner. The

is to
be a substantial prize.
