Sorry for bombarding you with newsletters but I wish to apologise for an error in yesterday’s newsletter.
I advised $155 will allow you 32 sessions (to be used at any time). This was an error and should have read $155 will allow you 24 sessions (to be used at any time).
The new fee structure therefore being:
$8/casual. $55/8 sessions ($50 @ training) to be used at any time OR $155/24 sessions, to be used at any time.
Scott Walton has been absent from training this week, he has a good excuse though. Last weekend Scott was involved in the Oxfam Trailwalker 100k in Sydney.
Scott has written a brief story about his experience.
I would just like to say thank you to everyone who sponsored me for the recent 100km Oxfam trailwalker. My team managed to raise around $1700 or so for the Oxfam cause.
We are starting at The Regatta Hotel at Toowong this Saturday at 6.30am. Runners will be doing varying distances from around 8k up to 25k or more depending on what they are training for. Some are running up to and around Mt Coot-tha, though most will be running toward the city and beyond. Brekky/coffee afterwards at The Regatta.

My first Fun Run was the now defunct Warana Fun Run. The race started and finished at South Bank, the very place Brisbane’s River Run is now staged.
