All the best to PCRG members who are involved in the Noosa Triathlon this weekend and also to Donna & Belinda (New York Marathon) and Peter & Mark (Auckland Marathon).
Jan and Phil were involved in a strong debate when this photo was taken following the warm up yesterday. I have added my caption to the photo and a PCRG cap will be awarded to the best caption submitted. Your caption (submitted by email) will be published along with your name, unless you advise otherwise.
You will find more photos from Tuesdays session here.
The 500k Summer Challenge is held over 3 days in November and Mark Turner is in need of a runner:
From Friday Nov 17 - Nov 19 is the 500 km summer challenge that raises money for the Endeavour Foundation. I am entering a couple of teams in this year's race that both have good chances at winning. If you are interested in being part of our teams and can run under 19 minutes for 5km please call Mark Turner on 0422819781 for a great weekend of laughs in the only relay of it's kind in Australia.
Theresa is organising a training run @ Noosa:
Anyone who'll be up here (nyuk nyuk, I am already there) and wanting to join a few of us (Clairie, Ciaran, Scotty, me) for a long run Saturday morning just show up at Cafe Le Monde (opposite surf club) at 5.30am.
Catch YOU in the morning.
P.S. A prawn running on a treadmill – surely not! Well……here is the proof.
One of the best Triathlons in the World takes place
on our door step.
If you are not involved in the full Tri you could run the 10k leg in the team’s event.
You can advertise on the Noosa Triathlon site that you are looking for a cyclist and swimmer to make up a team. You will also find swimmers and/or cyclists searching for a runner.
You can purchase online via c/c or eft.

If you fail to follow a sensible diet your body will not gain full benefit from all of those enjoyable and challenging runs and you won't recover as well as you possibly could.
