Congratulations to ALL PCRG members who took part in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon/ Half Marathon or 10k.
It was an unbelievable day and Gold Coast Events put on a World Class show.
A huge thank you goes to Karla (massage) Tori and friends (b/fast) and Susan (helping people once they finished and photos).
I will be acknowledging the magnificent achievements by PCRG members at the Annual dinner.
I feel that it is now important for the majority of group members to take some time out from hard training. With this in mind the group sessions for the next two weeks will consist of relaxed 50min runs – no fast running. I will still be there to store your gear while you go for a run and also have light refreshments available after.
I totally understand if you elect to take a two week ‘complete’ break from the group sessions.
Our Annual dinner is my next main focus and you only have to look at last years photos to get an idea as to how enjoyable the night will be. All PCRG members who attend the Annual dinner will be the first to see our 2006 video and slide show. All PCRG members who attend will also receive a complimentary copy of the DVD.
Our Annual dinner is on Saturday week (July 15) – The Ship Inn – tickets are selling fast. Details here.
P.S. If you wake up tomorrow morning and feel like hitting that snooze button then by all means go ahead. You deserve to have a sleep in!
Saturday-July 15-The Ship Inn-7pm $60 (two weeks after Gold Coast)
Imagine standing on the verandah at the dinner with a relaxing drink, looking down at where we meet throughout the year, rain/hail or shine.
