  • Pat,

Well this is it Ladies and Gentlemen, we are just about there!

Tomorrow morning – Dig Deep for Elaine ‘Gold Coast rehearsal’.
This is where all PCRG members will run 3k or 4k @ Gold Coast goal race pace. There will be Intraining Vouchers ($50/$20/$20) awarded to the three members closest to their previously nominated time. All members will be asked NOT to look at their watch over final km. Please remember to bring a donation for Dig Deep for Elaine. All donations $5 and over are entitled to a receipt.

Gold Coast - There will be a PCRG tent in the Corporate area (prior to the finish). Please feel free to use this tent as a meeting place, somewhere to leave your gear and most importantly, a place to celebrate and cheer home your fellow group members because the tent will be right up against the finish line. Karla will be offering free ‘post race’ massages to all PCRG members. Tori and friends will be manning a sausage sizzle with all proceeds going to Dig Deep for Elaine.

Annual dinner tickets are selling fast.

There will be a free motivational seminar held at the race start/finish area @2.30pm on Saturday. The top 5 Australian Marathoners of all time – Rob De Castella, Steve Moneghetti, Derek Clayton, Yours truly and Lee Troop will be speaking.

Often all we need is to be confronted by a challenge to allow the best to come out in us. Finding your untapped super human strength may help you achieve your goal at the Coast. I have written a brief article on this subject. You will find the article here.

Click here if you would like to take an online tour of the Gold Coast Half Marathon.
