Pat,

I would like to sincerely thank all of the group members who participated in the ‘Brisbane Running Group 3K Challenge’ on Friday night.

The Regatta Runners were initially handed the trophy however it has since been decided that the winners of all four categories (15+/20+/25+/30+) equally deserve to hold the trophy high.

As a result I am pleased to advise that the ‘Pat Carroll Running Group’ took out the 25+ and 30+ category.

Yes we were the only team which had 30 or more runners however the camaraderie within the group which resulted in such a presence is definitely worth acknowledging. On Friday night we proved that ‘our group’ has the greatest depth.

The inaugural ‘Brisbane Running Group 3k Challenge’ was a huge success. Runners are already asking when the next 3K Challenge will take place.

Six teams took part which brought together 122 runners.
