Pat, The Brisbane Running Group's 3k challenge will take place Friday week - Feb 22. I would greatly appreciate a strong PCRG showing and all levels of runners are required. Details here. Matt Phillips emailed me yesterday and advised his brother Adam may be bringing a couple of his work colleagues along to PCRG because they are intrigued by the 'runners high' Adam has when he fronts up for work. Running can be leave you feeling like you are 'complete' and ready to take on what life has to dish out. Even the small treats such as the cappuccino on the way to work and/or a relaxing drink at the end of your day all seem more enjoyable (and rewarding) when you know that you have worked out, and if you are a runner there is no better way to work out than running itself. Photos from last Fridays PCRG session can be viewed here. Photos from Tuesdays PCRG session can be viewed here. Cassie Smith has a special request: My uncle, Arthur Travers, passed away just over a week ago from his 4 year battle of Lymphatic Cancer. Coming from a very close family it has been a dreadful shock to the system and we all pulling together to recover. Even though he had the cancer, his death was still unexpected. I would still like to run the Brisbane Marathon for Arthur and would love your support. If you are participating in the Brisbane Marathon on the 20th April in any of the distances all I am asking of you is if you would wear a small note on your back with his photo on saying "I am running for Arthur". Catch you in the morning and/or on Friday for a challenging PCRG session that will leave you feeling complete.
Cheers
P.S. Thanks to Tribetterealestate there are still two Timex watches to be won - surely one of them has your name on it! Matt Phillips (PCRG - Feb 12) - A man on a mission!
