A number of runners commented on how much they enjoyed running in the rain on Tuesday. Sure it sounds uninviting when you first wake but we do have to realise that we live in a sub-tropical climate, and if you dodged every (welcomed) bit of rain your level of fitness would take a bashing.
Speaking of welcomed rain I have a proposal and forgive me if this is slightly out there. For some time I have been feeling guilty about the amount of waste we produce @ PCRG (Plastic cups/poppers/ice block wrappers etc) and as a result I have been trying to come up with a way to reduce producing such waste. Personal drink bottles is one alternative however it's possible members will forget to bring the bottle along and then you have to find your bottle amongst the 80 others at the conclusion of the session.
I was therefore hoping this proposal may help offest the waste we produce: PCRG members make a pledge to say NO to plastic shopping bags. I have recently taken such a stance and to be honest it makes me feel warm and fuzzy to know I am doing my bit. The reusable bags ($1.00) work a treat and you don't have to live in fear that they may break.
I have established a page on my site where you can submit your name (pledge). The page also contains the names of PCRG members who have made the pledge to say NO to plastic shopping bags. Please feel free to submit your name even if you are already using recyclable bags. The list will publicly show that we care about our environment.
If it's raining tomorrow morning and/or on Friday I urge you to join me for a perfect/brilliant start to your day.
The most important thing is to sell your own home for the very best price possible and to achieve this in the quickest time. If you are waiting to move, or buy another property depending on the outcome of your own sale it is vital to have an agent who not only understands this but can also take positive action to ensure you realise your own dream.
