The highlight being the $19,287 raised for Childhood Cancer Support during PCRG's 2007 Gold Coast Airport Marathon campaign. We need to lock in a PCRG 2008 Gold Coast Airport Marathon charity. I am therefore inviting PCRG members to nominate a charity of their choice. It does help boost enthusiasm if a group member has had/has an involvement with the charity chosen. eg; Last year we chose Childhood Cancer Support because Susan had been involved with the charity during Mathew's illness. It is possible that a number of PCRG members will suggest a charity. With this in mind Dan Kelly and Michael Hansen will help me choose the 2008 PCRG Gold Coast Airport Marathon charity. Please email me the charity of your choice along with an explanation as to why you are making the suggestion. Once again, please be aware that a number of people may nominate a charity. Summer has (finally) arrived and you are well and truly locked into your normal routine again. Tomorrow morning you will be able to take part in a group running session with one of Australia's most supportive community running groups. It will definitely be the perfect way to start your day.
