Pat, I trust you have had an enjoyable break from your general routine and feeling like you are ready for a fresh start. Tomorrow mornings PCRG session will involve our monthly 3k Time Trial and I would appreciate any assistance from non participating members who are able to act as course marshals (no, you do not get a badge!). It is important that we continue to enjoy Brisbane City in a safe manner and I'm impressed by how bike conscious and pedestrian conscious PCRG has become. The following feedback is evident that PCRG is setting the safety standard: Dear Pat, I was at a BBQ on the weekend telling some friends about a massive group of runners that I saw last week running on the path under the freeway towards the bridge @ South Bank. They were in various degrees of Christmas apparel but all looking like they were having a great time, including this guy cruising along in a crazy suit. After coming across your web site I have since found out that the guy in the crazy suit was you, and it was your running group that I saw, so I wanted to say thanks. It was fantastic to hear your group calling forward letting other runners know there was a bike approaching and giving me some space to pass or when on coming bikes approached allowing me to blend into some of the gaps until they passed. It was a nice change from the smaller groups of runners who take up the whole path and make it dangerous for both runners and cyclists. Much appreciated. Looks like a fun running group. (Great suit too)

I hope you can attend and if so please note this event in your diary. Possibly you will be stepping up from the Half Marathon to the Marathon this year or maybe have your sights set on achieving a number of pb's. PCRG will help you achieve your goals in 2008 and striving to achieve a strong performance in the monthly 3k Time Trials will aid with your focus in ALL of the PCRG sessions you attend. Catch you in the morning for a great PCRG start to your YEAR! Cheers
