We can become complacent, and at times take things for granted. One of the main reasons I've been so physically active over the past few decades results from not only my enjoyment for running and the sense of well being it brings but also because it's my way to publicly display my appreciation for life in general.
Last Monday I was struck by a surf board which put me out of action and unable to run. Not being able to actively take part in the PCRG sessions was a wake up call that made me 'remember why I run' and not being able to offer encouragement to PCRG members, to the best of my ability, during the core of the session was frustrating to say the least.
My back is just about 100% and I will be back on deck for tomorrow mornings PCRG session.
The Tribetterealestate/PCRG Summer Series starts tomorrow. PCRG members are invited to submit an entry (preferably upon arrival) to go in the draw for one of the magnificent prizes. Full details and entry conditions can be viewed here.
Tomorrow mornings PCRG session will involve our monthly 3k Time Trial. We have an obligation to ensure the safety of the public and fellow PCRG members is considered at all times. Please take a moment to remind yourself of the PCRG safety rules.
Please be cautious during the warm up and cool down when you are running along Riverside Drive (just past the Pauls milk factory). The footpath in this section is unavailable which means you will be running to the very side of the road. Please be aware that this is a narrow road and that cyclist (in large packs) often travel through this area. No more than two abreast please.
I would appreciate any assistance from non participating PCRG members who are able to act as course marshals.
I would not wish an injury on any PCRG member however what I would like you to do is to imagine being injured and unable to run for a prolonged period of time. This can often be all that is needed to turn a blasť attitude into a more positive/appreciative one, minus all of the soul searching and trips to the physio that an actual injury brings.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow mornings PCRG session. Take a second to 'remember why you run' and I'm confidant you will have the very same positive attitude.
Have a great Monday and catch you in the morning.
The most important thing is to sell your own home for the very best price possible and to achieve this in the quickest time. If you are waiting to move, or buy another property depending on the outcome of your own sale it is vital to have an agent who not only understands this but can also take positive action to ensure you realise your own dream.
