  • Pat,

At the PCRG Annual Dinner I announced that PCRG had raised $17,700 for Childhood Cancer Support and that this figure may grow.

Well it has grown considerably and I'm extremely proud to reveal that PCRG raised $19,200. What a fantastic achievement and I sincerely thank everyone who contributed!!!!

An official cheque presentation to Childhood Cancer Support will take place at the conclusion of next Tuesdays PCRG session. There is a chance members of the media may attend and if this takes place it will be a great opportunity to allow more people aware of Childhood Cancer Support and also how PCRG is contributing to the community by acting as great role models via being active and also raising funds for charity.

To date PCRG has raised over $27,000 for various charities.

A number of PCRG members have been enjoying a well earned break from the group since Gold Coast. I believe this is healthy for you need to have some down time and let's face it - those early winter mornings post Gold Coast were uninviting!

Attendance did pick up this week though and now that spring (the early morning sun) and singlet weather is here I have no doubt that attendance at PCRG sessions will be back into full swing over the next couple of weeks.

Runners attending PCRG for the first time continue to be amazed by how supportive and friendly everyone is. Thank you for helping make PCRG one of Australia's most supportive running groups.

Catch you in the morning and/or next Tuesday for a perfect PCRG start to your day!

    Cheers

    Pat
