Pat, There will be a PCRG breakfast tomorrow morning (crepes etc) thanks to Majer Recruitment. Thank you Majer Recruitment for your fabulous ongoing PCRG support. To ensure you stay warm we will be dining inside the Ship Inn. Well last night was a hoot and I would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended and made the night such a great success. I spoke to Kerryn before she left this morning and she told me that she had a great time.
I don't have the exact figure re funds raised on the
night for Childhood Cancer support however the
auction and raffle combined is sure to bring in the
best part of $5000. Totally amazing and
thanks again.

Even though distance running is an individual sport, support from family and friends can help make achieving your goal a stronger possibility. When I ran competitively at the Coast I was always spurred on by the chanting of 'Go Pat'. I know that you will be encouraging your fellow PCRG members on Sunday. A simple 'Go Karen' or 'Go PCRG' will make a World of difference. Tomorrow, and Friday mornings, PCRG session will involve some light 30sec efforts. Catch you then and bring on the Coast! Yours truly (and an assistant) will perform a live call (video will be shown) of the last 15min of Kerryn's magnificent Melbourne Commonwealth Games win. Following this I will conduct a casual live chat (interview) with Kerryn. You will leave feeling pumped and ready to tackle Gold Coast! There will also be a charity auction with ALL proceeds going to Childhood Cancer Support. Please contact me if you (or your company) can graciously donate an auction item. This is not an exclusive PCRG dinner. All members of the general public are welcome.
You trained well, braved the chilly winter mornings and applied yourself in either the 10k, Half Marathon or Marathon at the Gold Coast. Now for the celebration! The PCRG Annual Dinner will be the ultimate way to put a close to your 2007 Gold Coast campaign and celebrate with fellow group members. Maybe your spouse/partner/friend supported you throughout this period and it is hoped that she/he will be joining in this celebration.
