Pat, Photos from Tuesdays PCRG session can be viewed here. The launch of the 2007 Suncorp Sunday Mail Bridge to Brisbane will take place next Tuesday morning (May 29) at 8am @ Bretts Wharf - Kingsford Smith Drive. Given the fact I am a Bridge to Brisbane ambassador I will be attending the launch and have been asked to invite fellow PCRG members to attend. You will receive a promotional T Shirt and will be asked to take part in a group running shot on Kingsford Smith Drive (various forms of media will be involved). Following this you will have the option to call it a day and head home OR continue on with the launch. The continuation of the launch will involve taking you by bus into the city and to run in groups through the city (media will be taking shots etc). I can arrange to have a bus transport PCRG members from The Ship Inn @ 7.30am to Kingsford Smith Drive and to have you dropped back at The Ship Inn between 9am and 9.30am. Please advise via return email (or touch base with me at training) if you would like to be involved in the 2007 Suncorp Sunday Mail Bridge to Brisbane launch. The morning temperature is starting to drop and your bedroom is well and truly covered in darkness when your alarm sounds. When I first hear my morning alarm I stumble through my thoughts trying to work out what day it is. At the same time I often imagine PCRG members doing the same and wonder how many are going to make the effort to drive to South Bank when they realise its Tuesday/Thursday or Friday morning and how many are going to take the easier option and give PCRG a miss. Having said this I do realise that family/work and other issues often take priority and may prevent you attending. If there is nothing standing in your way apart from a nice warm bed I hope you accept the challenge tomorrow morning and/or on Friday, make your way to South Bank and as a result sail through your day feeling fantastic. 5 weeks and 4 days to go! Cheers Pat
Thank you Hunt Lawyers for being a PCRG sponsor.
Yours truly (and an assistant) will perform a live call (video will be shown) of the last 15min of Kerryn's magnificent Melbourne Commonwealth Games win. Following this I will conduct a casual live chat (interview) with Kerryn. You will leave feeling pumped and ready to tackle Gold Coast! There will also be a charity auction with ALL proceeds going to Childhood Cancer Support. Please contact me if you (or your company) can graciously donate an auction item. This is not an exclusive PCRG dinner. All members of the general public are welcome.
You trained well, braved the chilly winter mornings and applied yourself in either the 10k, Half Marathon or Marathon at the Gold Coast. Now for the celebration! The PCRG Annual Dinner will be the ultimate way to put a close to your 2007 Gold Coast campaign and celebrate with fellow group members. Maybe your spouse/partner/friend supported you throughout this period and it is hoped that she/he will be joining in this celebration.
