Pat, The Mizuno Injury Prevention Seminar will be held at The Ship Inn (upstairs) this Friday night (April 13) @ 7.30pm. This is not an exclusive PCRG seminar and members of the general public are welcome to attend. There will be drinks on the upper level deck from 6.30pm. Entry is free - optional gold coin donation towards the Dig Deep for the Kids campaign. Steve Manning (podiatrist) will be providing you with valuable tips on injury prevention and he will also share with you his vast knowledge on running shoes. Steve’s talk will be different to what he presented last year. If you wish to have an uninterrupted Gold Coast 2007 campaign you simply cannot afford to miss this talk. The Brisbane Marathon will be held on April 22 and Claire Bellenger (PCRG member) is calling for volunteers:
The date for the PCRG Annual dinner has been moved forward one week to July 21. The dinner will be held at Rydges in the Rooftop Room. Photos from last Fridays Good Friday 10k can be viewed here. The Countdown to Gold Coast is well and truly in full swing for there is less than 12 weeks remaining in the Hunt Lawyers PCRG Gold Coast 2007 campaign. The "Pentath-Run" Will be held on 19 and 20 May strategically placed three weeks before the Lest We Forget Run and six weeks before the Gold Coast Marathon. The five races of the Warwick Pentath-Run are all held within the shire of Warwick, two hours south-west of Brisbane, along the Cunnighham Highway.
PCRG will be raising funds for Childhood Cancer Support during the Hunt Lawyers/PCRG Gold Coast 2007 Campaign.
