  • Pat,

When you are talking to your marketing manager you may consider mentioning PCRG and the sponsorship opportunity which currently exists. Not only could you be greatly benefiting PCRG but you could also be awarded a complimentary pass to the PCRG Countdown to Gold Coast 2007 campaign. If you supply me with a contact name and email address I will take care of the rest. Alternatively, please email me for a copy of the PCRG Countdown to Gold Coast sponsorship proposal.

When people discuss PCRG one of the most common attributes commented on is how supportive the group is. I have been thinking long and hard about coming up with a concept that will enhance the supportive nature which fuels PCRG. A concept that can be implemented throughout the PCRG Countdown to Gold Coast campaign which kicks off in less than 3 weeks.

I was chained to a chair watching ''The biggest loser'' and then it hit me - TEAMS WITHIN A TEAM!

The concept is not finalised but it will be something like this:

    1. It is not compulsory to be involved and PCRG members can still take part in the Countdown to Gold Coast campaign should they not wish to join a team.
    2. Teams will consist of 10 members. Group members are encouraged to form their own teams up to a maximum of 8 members. The remaining spots will be filled by PCRG members who are reasonably new to PCRG.
    3. Team members can be replaced during the campaign.
    4. The winning team will be the team who collectively accumulated the most PCRG visits. Team tallies will be displayed at PCRG and on www.patcarrollonline.com .
    5. All members of the winning team will be entered into the draw (at the annual dinner) for a major price (tba). Therefore one person will be winning the major prize.
    6. All members of the winning team need to have attended a minimum of 20 (tbc) out of the maximum 44 PCRG sessions to be eligible to go into the draw.
    7. If a team member withdraws from the team during the campaign he/she will still be eligible to go into the draw if he/she had accumulated a minimum of 20 (tbc) visits at the time of withdrawal.
    8. Acceptable reason for team members committing to this concept who may miss a PCRG session: Sick/Injured/Family/Work or unforseen circumstance.
    9. Unacceptable reason for team members committing to this concept who may miss a PCRG session: Lack of motivation and the false haven provided by a warm bed!

One of the fantastic advantages this concept offers is PCRG members will have the extra support of a team within a team should injury or motivation strike throughout the campaign.

Your feedback on the above concept will be greatly appreciated. We also need a name for the concept! Any Ideas?

Photos from Tuesdays PCRG session can be viewed here.

Catch you in the morning and/or on Friday for a perfect PCRG start to your day.

    Cheers

    Pat
