Pat, A special thanks goes to BB’s cafe (cnr of Adelaide St and Wharf St, Brisbane City) for supplying the muffins and drink at Tuesdays PCRG 3k Time Trial. If you visit BB’s in the City and mention you are a PCRG member you will receive two coffees for the price of one. This offer is valid from now up until the Gold Coast Airport Marathon on July 1. 83 runners attended Tuesdays 3k Time Trial and Jan/Phil/Rosie/Fiona/Jodie and Steve made sure the event was a safe one, thanks guys. Photos/Report and Results from Tuesdays 3k can be viewed here. I did receive feedback from another group of runners who were running along Riverside Drive at the same time as us. A member of the other group experienced an episode where a PCRG runner did not give way. I realise that we are all focused when it come to striving to run a pb but I do ask that all PCRG members are courteous at all times to fellow runners/cyclist and pedestrians. I did mention in Mondays Newsletter that I welcome any song suggestions for the PCRG Summer Video. I just wish to clarify that I am open to any recent songs that you feel may be appropriate. I am more than willing to step out of the 70’s/80’s era. Tomorrow mornings PCRG session will consist of a light 50min run (followed by our NO WATCH 1K) and before you know it we will all be relaxing at The Ship Inn for a free breakfast (crepes etc) thanks to Majer Recruitment. Please remember to bring a GOLD COIN (Camp Quality) for the No Watch 1k. Some of you may have won a free massage with Karla. Unfortunately Karla is leaving Brisbane and you will need to make use of your voucher by the end of February. PCRG wishes you all the best Karla and we sincerely thank you for your generous support. Thank you for helping make PCRG what it is and catch you in the morning. Cheers Pat P.S. There is no need to register for the Brisbane Running Groups 3k Challenge until the night itself. When you arrive (no later than 5.45pm) you will be given a race number.
