Pat, Distance running continues to rival any other mass participation sport! The sight of thousands of people running together at the same time is true testament to how alive our human spirit is. Congratulations on being a distance runner! Not only are you enjoying a healthy lifestyle, but there is always a chance that the sight of you running may encourage another individual to do the same.
