|Laing O'Rourke PCRG Gold Coast 2009 Campaign|
It was 5.50am and the river beside Riverside Drive was like a sheet of glass. I was "still" stuck in the 80's with the warm up music and you were about to run 3k to your max potential. Regardless of your time you walked away a winner!
Congratulations Group Members of the Month:
Special thanks goes to Gary Mayor and Michelle for measuring the new course and also to David and Kate for ensuring the Time Trial was conducted in a safe manner.
Gary Mayor was at the 1500m turn and has been doing so for some time now. Gary and I go way back, and along with a few others, Gary was instrumental in providing me with direction during the early days of my running career. Good on you Gaz!
Doomben Half Marathon/10k this Sunday and no
entries on race day.
PCRG next Monday????? It's a public holiday but I'm up for it if you are. Please advise via reply email if you will attend. I'll need 30+ starters and I'll advise in a Newsletter on Friday if Monday's session will take place.
This will leave you pumped for the Coast:
And this is where you will celebrate:
Possibly you entered Gold Coast individually and
didn't pay your entry fee directly to me. I can still have
you listed as a PCRG team member. If your name is not on
this list and you have entered individually please
email me and I will have you noted as a PCRG team
