I know that I've previously mentioned Pat Farmer's Pole to Pole run but I must admit that I'm continuously in awe of his eternal amount of running energy. I was the race announcer at the Blackmores Sydney Marathon last Sunday (man it was a warm day) and I took advantage of the opportunity to involve Steve Moneghetti and Lee Troop in a brief video tribute to Pat. The video (2 of them actually) made Pat's web site.
Melbourne City2Sea (Sunday November 13) 14k. We all need goals to keep life interesting and "LADIES" Melbourne is a great place to shop. A few PCRG members are interested in going down and I'll be involved as the race announcer. We could arrange group ground transport & accommodation, and flight are cheap as chips when booked in advance. Please contact me if you're interested and I'll establish a PCRG/City2Sea email group.
PCRG Summer Sponsor: We all love Pre Gold Coast random draw prizes and a few years ago we had a PCRG "Summer Series" which also involved prizes post PCRG. Please contact me if you (or your company) would like to have direct exposure to PCRG members as a PCRG "Summer Series" sponsor.
Tomorrow mornings session will take place @ West End and if Pat Farmer can knock out 85k (day after day after day) surely you can call on your running energy and rock along to PCRG.

I met Ron Hill pre 1986 London Marathon - Ron is a true legend! This meeting encouraged me to try "Hilly Socks" some 25 years later. I'm particularly impressed with the Mono Skins and can honestly say they're the best fitting sock I've ever worn.
Hilly Socks are professionally made with comfort second to none!
