Pat, Banking a healthy/strong training campaign is often easier said than done. We're not bullet proof and other priorities often come into play. I was chatting to Ed Jan (Rob Schneider) on Sunday and he was appreciating the fact he's managed to "stay true" throughout his campaign and with 2 weeks to go he was healthy/injury free & pumped. This time last year Ed was a member of the walking wounded and was living on a prayer which failed to deliver. Chances are you're in the same boat (ok, no more clichés) as Ed and excited by the fact only 13 days stand between you and your Gold Coast goal. Donators of Auction Items will be acknowledge in next weeks Newsletter as well as during the Auction which will be conducted by one of Australia's most sort after Auctioneers! There're 210 PCRG members running at the Coast and with < 2 weeks to go PCRG's fundraising page involves 6 members rasing much need funds for The Australian Lung Foundation. I know we've had a tough year to date however there're so many great people in our community who're willing to donate to a worthy cause. I'll be sending out an email to everyone on my Newsletter list (4000+ subscribers) in the next day or so and I invite you to do the same. Mike Hansen (PCRG member) is encouraging PCRG members to get involved by (Insurance Broking Qld) donating $10.00 for every PCRG Member that registers on the everydayhero site. It's easy:
I went for a solo run this am and there's no denying it was initially brisk. 10min into the run I was warm as toast and setting myself up for a ripper day. Tomorrow mornings session will take pace in the Botanical Gardens. Stay TRUE and I'll catch you in the am! Cheers Pat
