Trudy's Backyard Blitz (Stage 2) was completed on the weekend thanks to Jimboomba Turf and Dave Williams.

Deidre Westerdale (PCRG member) is a sales consultant @ Jimboomba Turf and I approached Deidre earlier last week and asked if Jimboomba Turf could help us complete Trudy's BB. I received a call from Deidre on Saturday morning advising Jimboomba Turf had $2000 worth of turf they were willing to provide free of charge. Two hours later we collected the Turf (with Deidre's help, giving up her a/noon) and had it parked in Trudy's driveway.

Saturday night I phoned PCRG member Dave Williams who lay's turf for a living and he kindly agreed to donate his time/expertise and equipment. A remarkable gesture given the fact he had never met Trudy and had plans to take part in an ocean swim the same morning.

So……If you need Turf I can totally recommend Jimboomba Turf and the Sir Walter Turf is very easy on the eye & comes up a treat.
