I'm mindful of the dangers involved when it comes to running in the rain. A warm bed (for some) is a safer option. I mean let's face it, rain drops:

• Fall from a long way up
• As a result travel @ immense speed
• Can be darn painful if you're struck by one
• They're WET!

As you know I award prizes for PCRG members who attend PCRG but maybe it's time I started to acknowledge those who don't attend! Yep - I'm an ideas man!

I understand that wet weather can disrupt a standard schedule (kids to school etc) therefore PCRG members not attending a wet PCRG session due to a legitimate reason do not qualify for the following. PCRG members failing to attend a PCRG session when it's raining (without a legitimate reason) will all go into a draw for this great prize.

A runner is wanted for a mixed team at Calypso Bay Half Ironman on Sunday 3 October to run 21k. Registration has been paid and the course if flat. You can contact Tammy Booth if you're interested:

Keen on running a super fast 10k? Well there's a great 10k on offer in Sydney on November 7 @ Olympic Park. I attended the event last year and will return once again as the race announcer this year. The course is fast!!!!! Details about the Run4Fun can be found here.

Catch you Thursday and or Friday, unless you wish to qualify for the above mentioned prize twice in the same week.
