  • Pat,

95 runners attended Tuesdays 3k Time Trial and the pb's were few and far between. I regard this to be a great position to be in because the few pb's indicates that a large number of people took it easy throughout the December/January period. It's near impossible to be in pb form all year round and with just under 22 weeks till the Coast we all have an opportunity to "gradually" improve on where we are currently placed fitness wise.

Video/Photos/Results and Report from Tuesdays 3k Time Trial can be viewed here.

There was a recent request for me to make known at the start of each week where the (Tue/Thur/Fri) sessions will take place and also what the core of the sessions will involve. My role is to provide you with the motivation to bowl out of bed (@ a time most people regard as an ungodly hour) and to also keep the sessions enjoyable.

The reason I prefer not to not make the sessions known in advance is because I prefer to be spontaneous and to have members arriving @ PCRG and discovering what the sessions is - rather than knowing (and possibly dreading/staying under the sheets) what will take place.

A tough session can be grueling but once it's been conquered the hour has been well spent. Staying in bed - well, it's just not an option!

Sam Bellgardt is thrilled by the fact PCRG exists. This is what Sam had to say following her great pb on Tuesday.

We are constantly being made aware of the unsettling economic times we face. Feeling sharp/fit will provide you with a greater ability to overcome any challenging situations. Catch you in the morning and/or on Friday for a ripper of a start to your work day.

    Cheers

    Pat

P.S. Did you know there is no such thing as tough conditions, just soft people!
