Pat, Ali Catto (PCRG member) is participating in Oxfam Trailwalker in New Zealand on the 4th and 5th of April 2009. She will be part of a group of 4 people who will each complete 100km's together around Lake Taupo within the 36 hour time limit. As part of their fund-raising, they have decided to organise a half marathon and Ali is inviting you to take part. You can enter as an individual or as a team (with 2 people running 10.5kms each). Please see below for further details:
Further information will be emailed to participants prior to the event. If you have any questions or would like to help out on the day please contact Ali - (0438 522 343. Possibly you have some used running shoes that you not longer require. If so, you may like to donate them to those in need in Africa. You can bring your shoes to PCRG (preferably cleaned) and I will take care of them from there.
