  • Pat,

The PCRG/Gold Coast 2009 campaign will kick off in 5 weeks. I've been successful in securing a naming rights sponsor. Silver and Bronze sponsorship opportunities are still available. Details here.

Deborah De Williams, who is running around Australia (At 55km/day) is in Northern NSW and heading to Brisbane (due on the 17th February 2009), before making her way up to North Queensland.

Deborah, a Breast Cancer survivor herself, is trying to raise $300,000 as part of the run for Breast Cancer Research.

I've been advised that there will be a breakfast held in Brisbane for Deborah however I'm unaware of any exact details. Here is Deborah's web site/blog.

The International Woman's Day (IWD) Fun Run will be held @ South Bank on March 8. PCRG will be marshalling (sorry no guns or badges supplied) a section near the finish to ensure runners stay on course (7am - 8am). Please contact me via return email or touch base with me @ PCRG if you can assist.

I received a number of emails from "concerned" PCRG members asking if any fellow members were seriously injured by the falling rain last Thursday/Friday. Well I'm pleased to report that everyone "miraculously" came through unscathed and those who attended are one PCRG session stronger for doing so. As for the "concerned" members, well you can make up for it tomorrow!

    Catch you in the morning.

    Cheers

    Pat
