  • Pat,

A number of PCRG members are running in the Melbourne Marathon and Half Marathon this Sunday and signalling out PCRG members who are involved invariably means that I will miss someone. I will however go out on a limb and acknowledge:

    • Angela Burgess - debut Marathon. Angela had a foot injury throughout the second half of 2007 and to her credit she has bounced back stronger than ever. Go Ange! Your PCRG mates send you this cheerio Angela.
    • Andy Steele - I have often seen Andy running solo on his epic training runs. I did however spot him running with his son Justin on Sunday and both my paddling companion and I commented on how great it is to see father and son running together. Go Andy and Go Justin!

Like I said, the number of Melbourne bound PCRG members who deserve acknowledgment is great so for fear of leaving someone out I will stop now. I am honestly proud of you all and your level of enthusiasm for running is truly inspirational. Go PCRG!

Photos/Video from Tuesdays PCRG session can be viewed here.

I have set up a picasaweb photo page which accommodates higher res photos and it's also easier viewing. The link is on the above mentioned page as well as here. Left click on any of the photos for a larger view and right click if you wish to copy a photo.

It's now close to daylight @ 5.am which certainly makes the trip to PCRG far more enticing. Let's face it - those cold/dark mornings wear a bit thin after a while.

So, perfect running weather and great people - where else would you want to be! Catch you in the morning and/or on Friday.

    Cheers

    Pat
