  • Pat,

There has been a delay in kick starting our "Dig deep for Harri" campaign. Thankfully, we've been finally signed off by the Department of Fair Trading & we're all set to GO!

Just to bring you up to speed: Harri Creevy was born 1997, and developed normally to the age of 3½ years, at which stage he became very ill with Murray Valley Encephalitis in the February of 2001. Harri (lives in Tarragindi) now has spasticity quadriplegia, leaving him reliant on others for communication, food, mobility, bathing, positioning and toileting, and thus requires constant supervision. He also suffers from epilepsy and an interrupted swallow, putting further emphasis on the need for constant supervision. Harri requires complete assistance to get him into and out of the car, wheelchair, seating, bath and bed.

PCRG's aim is to raise $20,000 to purchase Harri an all-terrain wheel chair and to update his everyday wheel chair.

10 for 10 is as easy as 123. Register on everydayhero which will take no more than 10min. This will allow you to invite contacts to sponsor your Gold Coast run for $10. I'm yet to finalize the PCRG/Gold Coast team (thanks last minute entrants - smilie face) but at the moment we're sitting at 210. We can make a difference for Harri - please jump on board.

All you need to know about registering (10 for 10) can be found here.

Who wants a Hoody ($50)??? You may have seen PCRG members decked out in red PCRG hoody's with white PCRG embroidery. This time round we're going with black hoody and "red" PCRG embroidery on the front.
I was hoping to have a proof but it's not through as of yet and given winters "almost" here we best order toot sweet. Here's the black hoody and simply imagine a LARGE "RED" PCRG embroidered on the front.

    PCRG Sponsor - Pizza Capers

The year was 1996 and at the time the convenience food market was overflowing with cheap and nasty 'junk' food. There was a real need for change, and it came from the relaxed and leafy suburb of Kenmore in Brisbane's west - the location of the very first Pizza Capers kitchen.

Thank you Pizza Capers for being a PCRG sponsor.

Hilly Socks - second to none!

I met Ron Hill pre 1986 London Marathon - Ron is a true legend! This meeting encouraged me to try "Hilly Socks" some 25 years later. I'm particularly impressed with the Mono Skins and can honestly say they're the best fitting sock I've ever worn.

Hilly Socks are professionally made with comfort second to none!
