Pat, Just a reminder that there'll be a PCRG tent in the teams area which you (and family and friends) can use as a base on Saturday and Sunday.
Here's an overall layout of the race precinct. The PCRG tent will be in the "TEAMS AREA"
There'll be coffee and tea available just in case you're in need of a last minute pre race pick me up. After your race: You can return to the PCRG tent and change into some warm/dry clothing. Once you're all done @ the tent it would be great if you could spend the remainder of the morning @ the PCRG canopy. This will be positioned smack bang up against the Gold Coast Highway - only a stones throw away from our teams area tent. This will be an ideal opportunity to encourage runners who'll still be on the course. This is also where we'll be having a barbeque. The barbeque is on me however a $5 donation/head with ALL proceeds to "Dig deep for Harri" will be appreciated. Friends and family are welcome to join us for the barbeque. Race numbers: These will still be available for collection @ PCRG on Thur/Fri. Just to clarify:
Re Tuesdays race number collection mayhem (smilie face): Please email me if you have a 5.7k runner who missed out on a Shirt or Junior dash who missed out on a Cap. This weekend will be your opportunity to run with an awareness that you have the respect and support from all of your fellow PCRG members family and friends. Regardless of the outcome you've already ACHIEVED. You belong to a positive community running group who also supports the community. This is evident by the support we've provided to Luke and Harri. Let's also not fail to acknowledge how we "Lead by example". Our kids now grow up in a World where exercise is a natural part of their parent's daily lives. The photo at the very top of this newsletter tells all.
You can sponsor a PCRG member here (just in time re EOFY).
PCRG will take place tomorrow and Friday (short/sharp). Catch you then and also @ the Coast. Cheers Pat Only $2000 to go to meet our target!

The year was 1996 and at the time the convenience food market was overflowing with cheap and nasty 'junk' food. There was a real need for change, and it came from the relaxed and leafy suburb of Kenmore in Brisbane's west - the location of the very first Pizza Capers kitchen. Thank you Pizza Capers for being a PCRG sponsor.

I met Ron Hill pre 1986 London Marathon - Ron is a true legend! This meeting encouraged me to try "Hilly Socks" some 25 years later. I'm particularly impressed with the Mono Skins and can honestly say they're the best fitting sock I've ever worn. Hilly Socks are professionally made with comfort second to none!
PCRG is one of Australia's most supportive community running groups. Please join us if you're ever visiting Brisbane. If you live in Brisbane - what's stopping you?
