Feedback from John Thornell

The
weather was perfect marathon weather: Mid 50s F and overcast.
The winner broke the course record by 1 second. I had a slow
first five miles navigating around people (third corral start)
but got back on pace by mile 10 and kept cranking from there on.
The race seemed to go by very quickly. I focused on picking
people off, and my splits. Before I knew it, I was on the top of
double-H at mile 21! I attacked the whole way.
It was a
smart race. It was a fun race!
Thanks for your advice, training knowledge and encouragement.
Since we started working together, I think I've shaved 15
minutes off my marathon time. It's great to have another PB.
It's even sweeter to have a PB at Boston. It's a tough course!
