
Group awards:
During the 15 week campaign each group member will have the opportunity at the beginning and
end of each session to anonymously nominate, via a ballot box, a
fellow group member. Votes will be
tallied at the conclusion of each session and the group member
with the most nominations will win a prize.
There is no definite nomination criteria, reasons for nomination could
be:

A group member recently offered you encouragement during a
session.

You were impressed by how a group member recently trained.

You feel a certain group member adds considerably to the
positive group environment.

You admire how positive/committed a fellow group member is.
-
You may wish to use a nomination
to encourage someone to keep
attending.
There are numerous reasons which deserve nomination.
Group award prize (choice between):
'2006 PCRG
award'
finalists:
All anonymous votes will be
tallied at the conclusion of the 15 week campaign resulting in 5
finalists.
'2006 PCRG award': This will eventuate from the 5 group award
finalist via an anonymous vote at the PCRG
formal dinner.
Monthly award: A group
member is
selected as the recipient of the
'Group member of the month' award. Criteria is largely based based
around how a runner performs in the
monthly 3k Time Trial
compared to their previous personal best. Commitment to the
group also plays a part. The athlete of the month award is
sponsored by
INTRAINING.
'Group member of the month' is determined by Pat Carroll.
PCRG Group
philosophy:
A
fun and supportive environment free of elitism and
categorisation.
