A Brighter Future fundraising campaign:
PCRG's chosen Gold Coast 2009 Charity is "A Brighter Future", who help children with cerebral palsy (CP) and other similar neurological disorders.

How do you raise funds: Through contacting your friends, family and work colleagues inviting them to sponsor your Gold Coast run. You can set up your own Fundraising web page OR display this sponsorship form in your office!

Non PCRG members are welcome to take part in PCRG's "A Brighter Future" Fundraising Campaign.

Your own Fundraising web page:  
1)
Visit the GoFundraise PCRG event page and click on 'Start Fundraising'

2) Register with GoFundraise (it takes 2 minutes). You will notice that you are requested to add a special character in your password: eg; *

3) Create your very own FREE Fundraising Page (including a personal message and image).

Personal Message: Feel free to be expressive or you can copy/paste parts/all of the wording I used.

4) Photo - 110 pixels wide. I can crop a photo for you. Either email your photo to me or advise the date your PCRG photo was taken. PCRG photos.

5) Include the link to your page in an email to your friends, family and work colleagues inviting them to sponsor your Gold Coast run via a small donation, which will make a BIG difference.

GoFundraise has a “TELL YOUR FRIENDS” option which can be used to access your Facebook/My Space/Twitter/Gmail/Yahoo and various other sites/email accounts. There is also an option to enter up to 10 email addresses.

You can enter this standard wording into "TELL YOUR FRIENDS"/Outlook or your Work email.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and an automatic receipt will be forwarded via email.

This sponsorship form can be displayed in your office and will help you keep record of cash & cheque payments.

Cash & Cheques can be handed in @ PCRG: Please place in a sealed envelope along with sponsors names and addresses. Receipts will be forwarded to sponsors in due course.

Run for the Kids and run for Free:
Once you've reached your relevant fund raising threshold you will be eligible to claim your Gold Coast Airport Marathon/Half Marathon or 10k entry fee from GoFundraise. You may elect to decline the entry fee rebate and look upon this amount as your own contribution.

All entitled refunds will occur between 9:00am AEDT on 13/7/09 and 11:59pm AEDT 30/9/09.  

NB: The Gold Coast Airport Marathon is not associated with the entry fee rebate. All such matters are to be communicated to GoFundraise. 

PCRG members entering the Gold Coast Airport Marathon/Half Marathon or 10k will need to enter via the standard PCRG Team entry procedure (or personally) and claim entry fee rebate post event.

The entry fee which will be rebated is the Australian adult early bird entry fee minus 10% PCRG team entry discount as listed in the table above. If a participant registers after the early bird cut-off date and is as per the terms and conditions entitled to and claims the rebate for their event, this participant will only receive the early bird rate minus 10% PCRG team entry discount, not the greater rate as a refund.

Representing PCRG will ensure you are a member of one of the largest teams and in doing so you will be playing a role in PCRG's quest to win an award.

PCRG members are welcome to enter family members via below process.

Entry and payment (10% discount) needs to be made NO LATER THAN Friday May 29!!!!! 

Run for the Kids and run for Free: Achieving your relevant fund raising threshold will entitle you to claim your entry fee refund from GoFundraise. This refund option is totally separate to the PCRG group entry process. You still need to forward your entry fee (to Pat Carroll) regardless. 

Refund/Changes: You will be entitled to a 100% refund of your entry fee as well as being able to change events as long as your request (to Pat Carroll) is made by NO LATER THAN Friday May 29. Any changes relating to your entry past this date will need to be taken up with the Gold Coast Airport Marathon. 

Please enter online on the Gold Coast Airport Marathon site. Your payment is to be forwarded to Pat Carroll.

NB: Pat Carroll does not receive any additional group entry discount other than the standard 10%. Your entry fee will be forwarded to the Gold Coast Airport Marathon in full.

Once you have done this you will can continue to enter.

Kit Collection Location: Nominate Brisbane. I will be collecting your race kit and you can collect your race kit @ PCRG the week prior to Gold Coast OR at the event expo (PatCarrollOnline.com booth) on Saturday June 4.
