2008 is the third year that PCRG has involved a charity
with our
Gold Coast Airport Marathon campaign. In 2006 we raised
$5500 for the Queensland Cancer Fund and last year we raised
$19,287 for
Childhood Cancer Support.
Our aim is to
provide Ollie with a motorised beach wheelchair and to
cover the cost involved in heating his family swimming pool
which will provide Ollie with daily hydrotherapy. Any surplus
funds raised will go towards numerous other items, eg;
a
$50,000 specialised
powered wheelchair. To be honest with you, the list of
items that Ollie will require is endless.
You can raise
funds by asking friends/family/work colleagues etc to sponsor
you for your Gold Coast run:

we may be able to turn this around (red tape)
but at this stage we have to go with the non tax
